The THPFashion Takeover is an evolution of the elite fashion experience.
Our destination at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival was known for it’s fashion appeal - but had never before been privy to such a high caliber gathering of the fashion elite. THPFashion worked to hand select 4 exclusive contemporary designers to showcase invite-only, full runway shows over the first weekend of the festival.
The team then transformed the exclusive Parker Palm Springs, Gene Autry Estate, into a west coast fashion destination by developing an innovative and chic activation with a first-ever runway tent during the festival. Through an emotional and high-profile experience, the THPFashion Takeover was able to reach the Coachella crowd in way never thought possible.
Sponsors Hawaiian Tropic and Exhale spa found the THPFashion Takeover to be the perfect place to launch their Ultimate Cabana Escape with Sarah Hyland. The Ultimate Cabana, complete with yoga classes and a juice bar lounge space, helped to add an organic feel to the Gene Autry lawn that integrated seamlessly with the Coachella vibe.
With the social status of elite bloggers, stylists, press, and designers sitting front row at the fashion shows, the L.A. times, Hollywood Reporter and WWD all claimed “The Coachella experience now involves not only music stages, but also fashion. Fashion Runway Shows are taking over Coachella."
